(no subject)
-So I went and saw Planes Mistaken for Stars last night at ACME records here in my fair city...It was pretty all right, decent turn out (100 or so kids), although by the time PMFS started playing, 25% or so had left...Oh well, I don't really like them, and I realized that about 2 songs in, but I stuck around...I was kind of disappointed to see so many people who supposedly care about shows around here just take off...Atleast stick around and show some support
I was also amazed at how still so many people can stand while these dudes play their hearts out on stage (even though there wasn't one)...oh well
-I've been listening to the Hey Mercedes Unorchestrated EP pretty constantly for the last week or so...At first, what I thought was some random ok b-sides from a pretty ok record actually contain some hidden gems...Own Up and We Lie Half the Time are great pop rock songs...and of course, Roulette Systems is amazing...I've even gained an appreciation for Unorchestrated after hearing the live version with the Waking the Dead clip...But yeah, if you're a HM fan, pick it up at the Grand Theft Autumn Records website
