i remember going to Hai Sing's open house as a 12 year old and watching the dancers on stage, excited to be a part of them. and how id chosen to be a netballer instead out of fear.
history repeated itself in JC. i was so sure i was going to join dance that time around. i knew exactly what i wanted but i let fear take my hand and lead me back to what i know i can do (even if just adequately)- netball.
today, im just thankful that after making my parents pull me out of ballet class when the teacher called me 'fat' and all these years of procrastination, im finally able to learn the art of dance. the fact that im growing together with all these amazing dancers just makes it all the more special. (:
