Amy's Choice
- I think I expected way too much from this episode. Or rather, I expected it to be a lot more timey-wimey and Jacket!11-y than it was. I still really really enjoyed it, it was a good episode. I just got myself a little too excited over what we might get in it. I'm sure I'll love it even more on rewatch, when I know what to expect.
- "Something doesn't make sense. Let's go and poke it with a stick." may be my favorite 11 quote EVER :D <3333
- I know I'm repeating myself but godDAMN I am crushing on Matt's voice.
- Worst. Haircut. Ever.
- I was SO relieved that the solution wasn't "Oh the freezing Tardis world is the real one, lalala". My god that would have been lame. I didn't think it would be, but I was a little worried for a second. Silly me for not trusting them, I know.
- When the Doctor was rescuing random people in the VW bus, I was insanely distracted by the fact that there was a guy in the back who had 10!hair and 10!specs.
- Did I miss Jacket!11-y clues/recurring themes? We had Eyes, Alien fugitives from a dying world/race pretending to be people (though not with a perception filter this time). We had Amy's village being changed, and it's name being slightly changed, "made better" in their own perception, like Amy/Amelia. There's also "The Village That Time Forgot", which is just filled with Jacket!11 implications, though I'll be damned if I know what they mean. Did I miss something? I probably did.
- The more I think about the ep, the more I like it. I look forward to seeing it again I think.
