You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

6. Kids: I honestly don't know. At this point in my life I can't see myself being ready for kids at any time in the foreseeable future, but if I ever am ready and find the right guy, sure.
7. Brothers/Sisters: Nope.
8. Pets: My babygirls Francis and Tiffy
9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
+ Looking for a job so I can afford college and my fandom-obsessed life.
+ Trying to get my student life on some kind of track. I don't really know how that's gonna work.
+ Seeing Patrick Stewart and DAVID TENNANT in Hamlet in August. dhjkhdfk. And, even more importantly, finally meeting my braintwin ladyalcamy and the awesome dontburnhot. ♥
10. Parents: This is them. My Dad is a retired engineer, a photographer and photoshop nerd. My mum is a teacher at a pretty tough school. She started several anti-racism programs at her school and found a partner-school for them in Africa for which she keeps organizing events to collect donations, visits from both schools etc. She received a "Schools without Racism" awards for her work in the school. She's generally awesome and I really admire her. And, after almost 30 years of marriage, they're still adorable together. ♥
11. Who are some of your closest friends?: I'll stick with "real life" non-lj people, cause this post would never end if I'd list each of you here. But you known how much you mean to me and how much you help to keep me sane. Or, in some cases, keep me insane. ♥♥♥
So yeah: Sarah, Daniel and Katharina. I've known Sarah the longest, since 7th grade, and we've been best friends since about 10th. Upon meeting us, people sometimes suspect that we hate rather than love each other, but there are very few people on the planet that I love as much as her.
Katharina and I met in 12th grade, because she was the best friend of Sarah's then-boyfriend. They used to joke that they each had their Katharina. They also often had ridiculous and pointless fights in which Kat and I had to mediate, so it was kind of inevitable that we became close over the 2 years they were going out.
Neither Daniel nor I can believe that we've only been friends for 2,5 years. He came up to me at a party and said „Hey, aren't you always in that and that and that club and were at that and that and that concert etc“ and basically told me my entire schedule for the past few months, which is why my first reaction was to back away slowly and ponder why this guy was stalking me :D But yeah, we had always been at the same clubs and parties, so us becoming friends was also inevitable. Fun fact: we were both really really drunk at the party so even though we talked all night and told each other our life-stories, neither of us remembered any of it the next day. We remembered meeting and talking all night, just not what we had said. :D Very embarrassed, I admitted it when we talked on myspace the next day and he just laughed and said neither did he. It was kind of obvious we'd become friends then ^^
Realproof talked me into watching the The Middleman pilot yesterday, which I liked a lot more than I expected. It feels pretty much like a rip-off of both a lot of the time, but it's kind of the very family-friendly lovechild of Doctor Who and Chuck. Only Chuck is a really kick-ass girl. There's a cool but spoilery-for-the-first-ep picspam here.
So apparently there are already Replacement Pipettes?

It sounds really handy but I haven't quite managed it yet since the non-FF3-compatible extensions don't have a working "Add to Firefox" button for me. Am working on it, though. WELCOME BACK LJ HOOK HOW I'VE MISSED YOU!!!!!
I also finally found a theme that I like enough to carry me over until iFox Smooth is updated.
Germany vs. Portugal tonight. Don't really have high hopes, but at least we got this far ;)
