Hints and rumors about the DW finale are very encouraging........
It sure sounds to me as if Moffat's rewriting Rusty's era--erasing most of it, at the very least. I'm going to place my vote: Moffat's going back to the ghastly Bad Wolf finale of Rusty's, when Rose opened the heart of the TARDIS. That's my guess.
Weevils and blowfish in the DW finale. Huh. And Roman soldiers. Not to mention, in "Amy's Choice"--musical motifs from TW, plus the Hub dragon on the interior wall of the TARDIS.
Moffat, if you save TW and utterly wipe out the excreable CoE, I will have to kiss you. As Mary the Alien said, "I don't make up the rules...." :D
