I love television (or theater, or film, or paintings....) that make me think.

I love shows that I have to see again.  And again.

For posterity, and the very likely possibility that I will be so thoroughly proven wrong:  Blue-tie Doctor is NOT the Doctor, although he is the Doctor.  He has to die to restore the proper timeline, and River does it for him, then paying the penalty for commiting the murder of a "good man," a "hero to some," "the best man I ever knew"....After all, Blue-tie goes to his death willingly, if sadly.

Red-tie Doctor, who leaves his clothes in a pile while he is depicted as Neptune, God of the Seas, with two cherub/infants and two women framing him..........

And--Oh, Jesus.  I love Canton 3, as the Blue Doctor calls him.  If for nothing else--thank you, Moffat, for Canton.
