So, yeah ...

ahoy hoy, folkes. I ym ywrittin in ye mocke olde Anglys/Scots/whatever, because I am running through (again and again) the weird (wyrd?) text of a carol I get to sing a lot today. Ye firste verse:

Jerusalem rejos for joy:
Jesus, the sterne of most bewte
In thee is rissin as richtous roy,
Fro dirknes to illumyne thee.
With glorius sound of angell gle
Thy prince is borne in Baithlem
Quhilk sall the mak or thraldome fre.
Illuminare, Jerusalem.

It doesn't help that the composer's favorite interval is ... ye Tritone. Blah! Here - you can hear the crazy, if you copy'n'paste. (Ye linke doesnt werke well).

So ... for all y'all - fic question!

I'm not sure if Labyfic postings are done. But I feel a bit doubtful. There are adorable poems posted, funny carols, icons & photomanips, and this mass of increasing Creep on my part. Eh. It has many more parts. And it would be thematically fitting to post it finishing up this evening ... but I was NOT joking - I have a call at 2, a service at 4, another call at 9 and then a service going to about one in the morning. Ho, ho, ho.

I'll be worth it for this line in the second verse, describing the : "Thre kingis of strenge regionis"  ... "All drest with dyamantis / Reverest with gold in every hem."

Which just screams GLITTER to me. :) I will give the alto line an extra kick there, just for a certaine kinge ywich we alle kno.
