And so it begins....
Just so there's no surprises, when I eventually stop procrastinating and actually finish something, this will be mostly a writing (aka fanfic) journal. Pretty much everything here will be public anyway, but I'm not averse to people friending me if they see fit. I'm not picky and I always try to play nice. Plus, bearing in mind that my original account (should anyone here stumble across it) is f-locked to the point of paranoia, this is a liberating experience for me. ;)
As far as the fanfic is concerned, I seem to have a natural disposition towards angst, and over-riding heavy-handed themes. I'd love to be able to write fluff on occassion, but 'happily-ever-after' seems to so far exceed my skill level.
In my few years away from fanfic and fandom I appear to have developed a new proclivity toward femslash which I'm having fun exploring. But I'm not generally a rabid 'shipper', so if you don't always agree with my choices, I'm happy to live and let live. Other than that, comment, review, flame, if and when you want. Constructive feedback is always greatly appreciated as although I may momentarily sulk at criticism, the sensible part of me knows it is necessary, and I have enough bad writing habits to warrent it.
