I seriously lucked out with two outrageously talented fanmixers. Considering that this is a story that is so vehemently about a band with a specific sound, the tracklists add so much. So much. notsolaconic's choices, I have to say, nigh-on nail what I would've picked myself, with some additional choices that just blow me away for their awesomeness. How did I not know Nurses existed? It's a beautiful, coherent mix that fits so well, and the lyrical snapshots are so good I nearly renamed the story. Meanwhile, gingerrstar brought out some true classics that make me grin, even as they focus on the parts of the story that are, shall we say, a little woeful. And on top of that, I adore the cover art immensely. Ryan! His little sunglasses! And the projector, so elegant! I could not be more thrilled with these mixes: pls to enjoy!
