*wriggling toes* This made me think of the adorable uncertainty that some submissives display when they havent been with me long enough to be certain of what consistantly pleases me. Those who I trust enough to play with without my boots on eventually notice something that made me laugh the first time it was pointed out...
If im in a particularly playful mood during a scene, I wriggle my toes a little when I really like something or when an especially deviant idea enters my mind. That little "tell" doesnt enter the picture at all if im in the mood for a more emotionally/mentally intense interaction.
You know I enjoy your writing. Considering that is how I know you, I must like you too!
increasingly i am coming to the conclusion that characterization interferes with empathic accuracy. In other words as history replaces mystery, we become less able to read the minds of the people that we relate to and instead cloud our minds with what we think they they want to think is on their minds based upon our notions of the way that they percieve us. Obviously, if we think somebody is an asshole for example, we are going to be less able to accurately read their minds and therefore less able to find inspiration in their presence. The same is true with almost all attempts at characterization and or definition. That's why icons can be so tricky. In this journal, for example I have an icon that i'm obviously very fond of and which casts me in a particular mode which serves as an attempt at self-definition

Dominant could refer to an ability to spark in others a need to win approval or to inspire one to please.
Someone who is domineering may get a similar end result, but it may be attained by force or by fear.
