Ah, Altamira. It is quite relieving to see one's home again, even if it is under the dark spectre of recent events.

Commander Wilson, it is a pleasure to make your aquaintance.

I cannot say I am personally acquainted with the sort of technology that Orange Star is familiar with having just arrived here, but George has insisted that he is already aware of your needs and has already begun writing orders in order to fulfill those. As you know, the Lezareno Group is quite experienced in research and development, and, though our technologies may be different, I expect that our engineers and researchers will be able to develop something truly outstanding.

That said, Altamira should be able to handle some of the displaced Hylians' temporarily, if needed until more permanent housing can be established for them; I have already spoken to Her Highness about the latter matter, though it appears she is in a rather non-committal state at this moment, perfectly understandable in light of the disaster. I suppose, however, that it would be in Her Highness' best interest to begin this work sooner than later, and so I shall send a team and supplies to the mainland immediately in order to begin such efforts.

I'm sure during your stay in Hyrule, you became acquainted with the vehicles and weapons the Hylian soldiers carried. What you saw was Orange Star's standard weaponry and vehicle units. Given that, our research goes beyond conventional technology like that. To keep ahead of our enemies, we've spent a lot of resources in improving our armaments. The need for weapons development in this kind of world should be obvious enough.

Tolbi City would be an appropriate place for such construction. Of Hyrule's remaining territories, Smashville is too small and we've still got teams in Phenac City working to fix the damage caused by the flooding. However it remains to be seen whether Tolbi's mayor will continue to support Hyrule following their losses. I was the one who worked out their original alliance and I can't be certain they'll be willing to take in all of the Hylians, much less consider the princess to be any kind of authority figure.

I do remember such devices, yes. They were quite interesting marvels; while they were vaguely reminiscent of that which existed in Tethe'alla, admittedly there were some differences in the technology. I have little skill as a technician, so I cannot pretend to understand such in its entirety. However, Lezareno's engineers have been able to adapt and fuse differing technologies since our founding; as such, I expect it to be a productive relationship, Commander.

I will be in contact with the establishment at Tolbi City to gauge the willingness to cooperate in accepting the displaced persons from Hyrule. Just as any city, it would naturally be burdensome to have a city's nature drastically changed overnight, though hopefully they will understand that such times demand a spirit of generosity and flexibility in order to properly take care of those in need. Should all else fail, I will begin drawing up alternative proposals on how to remedy the situation at hand.

Glad to hear it. Few nations are willing to trade technology, which has left us to scavenge for what we can get. The silver lining to the recent attack is that we now have access to Cornerian technology that the Subspace Army was using. Already we've shipped some stuff to your facilities to be researched. Your man, George, should be able to brief you on that. It's all confidential, of course.

I'm worried about the long term. The Hylians have been sharing their city with humans and Cornerians for nearly a year now, but the Tolbians might not be so gracious. Wherever they go, things are only going to get worse before they get better. Then there's the matter of the princess... for better or worse, she's the glue holding this alliance together. Once the dust settles and it becomes apparent she has no more influence, I can only wonder how long it will take before things begin to break down with the other nations.

Lezareno has been in the business of doing so since its establishment, and while it would naturally be more worthwhile if such matters were unnecessary, there always seems to be a perpetual need for it, and so as a businessman I must oblige. All the more important now given the desperateness of the situation we as human beings face. I will make sure to have our people begin to investigate what you sent over to see what we can do; of course, we will gladly maintain your confidentiality.

Unfortunately, only time can heal the wounds of various cultures being haphazardly and chaotically thrown together. Though it would be preferable if the Tolbians and Hylians were able to coexist peaceably, I know this is not always a possibility. If it must be so, then they will have to construct a new city for themselves, which I imagine will be among my alternate plans for their future. Otherwise, they will have to integrate themselves into the fabric of other cities willing to have them. There may be some initial trepidation in Altamira as racial issues have plagued our world for some time, though I suppose that we coexist on an island with small dragons of varying colours may provide enough distraction to look beyond the shape of one's ears.

I cannot claim to know Her Majesty any more than you might already know her as we have only spoken a few times. All we can do is hope that she finds the hope to move on beyond tragedy.
