Remember I mentioned the review of French movies from my humor file? I was putting away some stuff last night and saw it. Even though I really like foreign movies, it still makes me laugh:
Judging from the vast majority of French films that are imported here, this is what life is like in France:
A man gets up in the morning and has a tryst with a woman he is not married to. They get together passionately. They take a break for a glass of wine and a bite of bread. They go back to their spouses and/or lonely, desperate existences for a scene or two. Then they rendezvous again.
They eat a little more, make love a little more, and everybody joins in a big argument. As the movie ends, it's not clear how the big argument has turned out, or even if there is any wine left.
