Divorce Update:
Well, I was all set. It was 20 days since I had Future Ex served the court papers, and she hadn't responded, which meant she had accepted my (fairly generous) divorce terms. Next step was to set a court date.
Then I got the email from her lawyer. (As an aside, how the hell can she afford a lawyer?)
She wants me to take over her bills. And give her 3 diferent kinds of alimony. Oh, and pay her lawyer, too.
"Well, fuuuuck me!" as dear old Dad used to say...
Now I got to find a lawyer, and figure out how to pay her/him. It looks as if I'll have to take out a loan. The whole getting a lawyer thing completely pisses me off. It's like throwing good money down the sewer. I -had- gotten my finances in order, and was well on the way to being debt free. Not anymore.
Dammit.
In other news I've been off my meds for half a week (pharmacy ran out), and am a physical and mental wreck. Not much has been taken picture wise lately. In a spot of good news I'm exercising semi-regularly, and have lost 10 pounds. For the moment, anyway.
Been talking a lot with Ms CK lately... rethinking some past decisions...
