Move is done...
and I'm sitting in a room full of boxes crying out to be emptied. They are a wall six boxes high at some points and at least fifteen boxes long. There's way too much stuff for this little place. Must purge! There are some things I've been thinking about letting the local dungeon use if I can use their space for video and photoshoots. We'll see. But I love the place. It's the upstairs of a 100 year old victorian converted into an apartment. The kitchen is sooo small though. I have no clue where I'm to put the spices. :P The new city is nice as well. Most of everything is withing walking distance except for Trader Joes and Costco. But I'll need a trunk for those trips anyway. There's a farmer's market only a block away that is put on three or four days a week! Hurray for fresh fruit and vegies!!
Alas, work has been suffering because of the move. I haven't taken any face to face sessions for a while and have been relying on phone work as I can schedule that around hectic days and sudden changes in schedule due to movers, travel and health. I'm debating on if I should take a small break as I'm thinking of starting up school again. The community college has an EMT course that a friend is taking. It sounds like it would be an interesting challenge, plus it's REALLY interesting. We were going over his text book and looking at the horrible agricultural accident pictures. So neat!!!!
I'm probably putting up some of my costumes and off the rack corsets up for sale so I can buy a new custom corset. Also, it would be good to do a little closet cleaning as I rarely wear most of the costumes I have. Grr, so much to do!!!!!!
