Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Tuesday I gave seamilk a kidney (1000 points). In March I signed my organ donor card (28 points). Last week I gave scrabble a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). Last Saturday I helped frock across the street (6 points). Last Monday notarebel and I robbed a bank (-50 points).

Overall, I've been nice (1034 points). For Christmas I deserve an Easy-Bake Oven!

Sincerely,
submarine

♠ I can't believe I haven't posted in two weeks. Inexcusable.
♠ It hurts my brain when boys sit around and briefly discuss the possibility of using avocado as lube. AND EATING IT AFTERWARDS? Okay, how is this level of crassness possible.
♠ 6am shifts have commenced at work; no thanks, NSW/VIC, you and your stupid daylight savings times ruining my life.
♠ My mum got a 43things account. She is the cutest mum ever.
♠ Speaking of family, sister has semi-moved in with me and Emma. It's... interesting, so far.
♠ Speaking of interesting, if you haven't read Life of Pi or Calamity Physics I am now in a place where I can recommend them both, as I've finished them and was thoroughly delighted by the both of them, particulary Calamity Physics. Amongst many other great things about it, the book has delightful pictures randomly strewn through it.
♠ Speaking of pictures, I really desperately want new icons. Maybe more bands...
♠ Speaking of bands:
a) Bob Evans is touring again in December! Here is an mp3 to show my delight.
b) Tim Steward's album launch on Friday night was really great! At times his voice reminds me of Tim Freedman's voice. No wonder I enjoy him so much. Here, you should enjoy him too.
c) Pete and I saw Sarah Blasko at the Tivoli on Saturday night and she was delightful. She played a mix of probably somewhere around half first album and half new album (she only has two so that's okay) and it was really great! SHE'S SO CUTE ONSTAGE. She has all these odd little movements she makes. Hard to explain. One of them Pete and I dubbed "the zombie shimmy".

♠ Speaking of zombies, Melbourne chums (Trev, Evan and Amanda) will be here on Friday! Staying for a week! :D!
♠ Speaking of Melb, thinking about going down there for the Big Day Out festival in January.
♠ Speaking of January, it'll be my birthday then!
♠ Speaking of birthdays, my little sister turned 18 on the weekend. She stayed out all Saturday night. What a trooper.
♠ Speaking of my sister, "Myspace is the new email," she declared the other day. If any of you don't have me added on there yet, you should do it. Then fight it out to get into my Top Friends.
♠ Speaking of Top Friends, #1 friend Emay and I are eating sorbet on Wednesday night. It's going to be really tasty.
♠ Speaking of eating/tasty, I'm thinking about sushi for dinner tonight.
♠ Speaking of tonight, it's the only night this week where I'm not booked in to leave the house and do something. Actually, cancel that. Just remembered that Emay and I are going to the Wicky to play Katamari. Lately, my life is a whirlwind.
♠ Speaking of whirlwinds, I've got nothing. That means this post is now done.
