you've heard me rave about this song. it starts with piano and then the beat kicks in and, frig, it's just beautiful. so far, everything i've chosen is slow. but they're all awesome. i'm very much so about the lyrics & the ability to lounge to a song.
lily dreams on - cotton mather:
from the veronica mars season one finale. this song really sets the mood for the final scene but if you like the beatles/john lennon, you'll love this song. if you don't like beatles or john lennon, you'll like this song. trust me, i'm not a beatles fan, though... i like john lennon.

every bond movie has a song at the beginning where bond/naked women/bullets/other things dance around the screen in trippy neon colours. this is that song for casino royale and it's so fitting for the movie. i love it.
mushaboom - feist:
i blame katie for this one. but, i took a liking to feist after i bought one of her cds and this song is the one that, whenever my mind wanders, i always seem to find myself singing. it's just so catchy.
on top of the world - boys like girls:
choosing an 'o' was tough because there's a lot of good one's, but just recently i went out and bought the 'boys like girls' cd and, since i knew most of the songs on the cd, save this one, this was the one that stuck out most. it's catchy and kickass, so take it.
no sleep tonight - the faders:
i lovelovelove dancing to this song. it's probably the most catchy on this list and very reminiscent of the bangles (80s band). take a listen, it's also from veronica mars (though it was in 'she's the man' too apparently).
all good things (come to an end) - nelly furtado feat. chris martin:
prepare to shed a little tear. this songs really pretty and it's the first song i liked on 'loose'. though, the catchy beats earlier in the cd are wicked too, but this song it's class nelly furtado. AND. it's the original studio version with chris martin from coldplay, who was cut from the ballad after the producers said his voice was too rock-ish (say what?!)
lovestoned/i think she knows interlude - justin timberlake:
fuck yeah this is on here. my favourite song on futuresex/lovesounds.
my favourite part is the end where it goes really soft. takes a while to get there so groove your ass off to the rest of the song, bitches.
