Christmas time will find me
At home once more. Done school and back at work too. That's alright, they pay me. But man, the gift certificate sales are out the wazoo.
Wicked was good, great even. My mother and I quite enjoyed it. 'Toss-toss'. Not much more I can say without spoiling it for those of you who haven't seen it, but it was worth every penny of my mother's money ;)
Speaking of my mother, she's playing resident evil. How weird is that. She doesn't like the 'beat up the other kids' smash brothers, but shooting people, thats fine. She's actually progressing, slowly, but progressing. She had to learn to wield a knife better. And shoot the wildlife.
My marks were pretty good, stupid Greek thought, its so disproportionate. No German up yet either, but I'm not concerned. I didn't get to talk about what to do in my town on that exam though. I was all ready for that too. Instead there was some corny cooking club thing. Sigh.
Woo Christmas. I'm getting excited cause all the presents are accumulating under the tree. Not for the woo I get stuff part but the general atmosphere. Its almost disappointing to open them all because then the tree looks so sad and lonely.
I finished the Amber Spyglass, and honestly, the ending was insufficient for me. It was tragic since I liked the other two so much and the first part of the last was wonderful too. I love the mulefa and all that exuberantly. But the ending didn't properly 'end' in my opinion. What about the Chariot coming back, like they said it would. What about the other Republic. The prophecy wasn't explained fully and there were still secrets between the daemon and their companions. Never mind that less than happy endings make me grumpy. It was worth reading, but man, he took so long to write it I expected a better ending.
Anyways, enough rambling, my kitten is being pushy for food. Its hard to type with her on my arms. Merry Christmas everyone. Have oodles of fun and merry times.
