Continuing saga of schooling.
Yes it has begun once more. Well its being going on for a bit now but you know. School has started afresh for a new year. Its not really the same at all though; new place, new people, new way of transporting myself in everyday. Aside from the whole 'it takes longer on the bus then I spend in class' thing, its going well. I think. I'm getting all the work done but its a lot of work. Oodles of translating of various things and new composition in Greek to try *shudder* Oh well.
I'm also the only girl in the class. Its rather odd not having people I can relate to well in my classes. People who translate exactly the same as I do because we took all our classes together. I guess some of the guys could be equally nerdy and such, but some of the friendships worked so well because girls weren't supposed to be nerdy I guess, if that even makes sense. Oh well, I'm intending to bother my wonderful 'twin' often anyways so it should be good. Besides, how much time am I really going to have outside of homework :P.
In other news... I bought a membership for the museum. Well it was actually a birthday present so I suppose 'I' didn't buy it. But woo, I'm excited. The dinosaurs still aren't open though! Its outrageous. They open in, like, December. Seriously, not cool. But we're totally going to that anyways.
Hm... um... yep, that's what I got. I could complain about the SUV again and inform you that I like the new car, but why should I? (Egads that was Ciceronian) Speaking of egads; I watched some Pinky and the Brain with my Nana the other day, boy was that a good show. I always found it hilarious, as did my Nana, but my mother never liked it, that and the Simpsons, but I was actually prohibited from watching the latter.
Enough rambling yet? We're going to Ikea soon and I'm skipping out on a department shindig. Oops what can you do.
