VA day 3

monday morning i woke up and called my mom, did my stretches, packed in my gear, and got on a bus which would take me over the scary reservoir where people drive too fast with no side to lee hall. there i picked up another bus which took me to the mall where i waited for 3 hours for the 107 bus, smoked the last cigarette i would smoke for a month, and bought natural sleeping pills at the vitamin shoppe mostly to stay dry which i did successfully until after getting off the last bus while waiting for the light to change so i could cross the street and walk into the apartment complex my aunt lives in, a large motor vehicle drove by and splashed a great big dirty splash right into my face drenching everything i had on me. after a day of waiting around for buses, bus drivers who "aren't from around here" and know the area less than i, buses with too many bikes on the racks so i cant get on an hafta wait for the bus to run the complete circuit and return while the whole time stayin' dry- only to drink street water with my aunts place in sight i had to laugh.

but it was good that that happened to me then, because if the day had started out like that instead of ended that way i would've been considerably wetter considerably longer and my feet would have been all pruned up and terrible feeling and i was just getting over an ear ache anyway. so on the night of monday the 27th i reached my aunt Karens house in Newport News VA. a nice dude who was moving couches wanted to carry my bike up the stairs for me so i let him. my aunt had dinner on the table for me- mad tasty. we ate and the hangin' out commenced.

this day was confused difficult and wet but reaching my destination was completely and only warm and wonderful.
