I'm always happy to read Tenipuri universe, but AU's are fun and an epic fantasy AU would be something totally new... It's quite the dilemma.

If it's giving you trouble, then maybe take a break from it? Sometimes things get easier once you've had a break for a while and can look at it again with fresh ideas ^_^
