I hope there was no leg-breaking grand finale. Dammit, shitty week was shitty and I hope you can catch a break now.
I did jury duty a few years ago. Even though I don't have your anxiety issues, I was terrified and made myself cry over it a few times as the first day grew nearer. And in the end it really wasn't that bad, and most of my time was spent waiting for my name to maybe be called while reading, writing (I did so much writing during those 10 days!!) or playing on my phone. Make sure you're familiar with the journey if you're driving yourself there, and that you know where to park (that took a big load off my shoulders). As for not knowing what to do, that was my big worry as well but everything was explained clearly and people were on hand all the time if you had any questions. The hardest part for me was when I actually did sit for one trial and had to do the oath thing XD Once that was done, plain sailing, really. Of course, there are talkative people everywhere who will immediately form groups and chatter their way through the waiting period, but in my experience most people don't want to be there so they keep to themselves.
How awesome was Glee, huh? I've been listening to Kurt's number again and again for the past few days. THAT VOICE!! *Chris Colfer fan XD*
wow, 10 days? unless we get picked for a trial, it's generally only one day. now I feel dumb for whining lol. Yeah, I definitely need to figure out where to park. :/
Kurt's number was great but damn was it just me, or was it way long? XD
I think that here in the UK they tell you that it generally lasts 2 weeks, but you don't necessarily sit on any trial. So I was a juror for... hmm, I don't even remember if it was all done in just one day or two… But the rest of the time I just hung around the waiting room. They'd always let us go in the afternoon as soon as they could tell no new trial was going to start that day, and in the end they released me and a few other people a few days early. So yes, I can't say I'd want to do it again in a hurry but it wasn't bad. AND I got money for it because they gave us lunch money to use in their cafeteria but I brought my own food XD (and ate in in my car because I'm antisocial FTW! XD)
And yes, it was long!! I think he did the whole song for once! \o/
