The series was short, unfortunately, but I would heartily recommend Mononoke for an awesome melding of Twilight Zone-like writing, Japanese folklore, and bizarrely pretty animation.

Also, if you keep up with the Tsubasa manga, the new OVA series covers the Acid Tokyo arc and is LIGHTYEARS better than the anime.
