We've been busy around here this week.
Kaylin's birthday was Wednesday and we took her to Chuck E. Cheese's that night for dinner. Between her tickets, my tickets, my dad's & Jeremy's we had over 500 tickets so she got a cute little notepad, pencil, stencil, sticker set with Superman on them. Yes, my daughter likes Superman and the rest of the Justice League.
Yesterday we had Kaylin's birthday party with a bounce house. She had a blast and wore herself out silly. The bounce house was delivered around 10am and her party wasn't until 4pm so she had some time to play in it alone and with her daddy. She also spent the most time in there out of all the kids at her party. All the other kids would get bored or tired and come out to slide, blow bubbles or get some water. She rarely wanted to come out and when she did it was never longer than a minute. She was pretty red faced by the time we were ready for cake and presents. Here are two pics.
You can see just how worn out she is in the cake picture. She went to spend the night with her Mimi and Papa and passed out in the car on the way to their house, around 7:30pm, and slept until 8:15 this morning.
After all the kids left our friends stuck around for a BBQ and fun times for Jeremy's birthday. We BBQ'd Chedderwurst and hot dogs and the others drank beer, while I sipped on lemonade. It was great to be surrounded by our friends and family for a day full of fun but it was SUCH a long day and Jeremy and I were ready to pass out around 11. We started telling people it was time to head out and were all cleaned up from both parties by midnight with everything washed and put away. Then we finally got to pass out. We slept until almost 10am this morning, that's practically unheard of in this house.
Jeremy is currently over at his parent's house watching the Vikings game and I'm just following my modified bedrest orders and sitting here with my feet up, flipping between the Viking game and Food Network. When he gets home we have to go to the grocery store to get dinner for tonight, bread, fruits & veggies. My mom made us 8 dinners from
Dinner Station so we are set for the week on groceries, minus the perishable stuff.
Jeremy has tomorrow off as well and has to get his haircut and go pick out part of his birthday present, a new pair of New Balance. He needs new tennies but that's something I'll let him pick on his own so he can pick which fit best. Hopefully I can get him to spend at least part of his day off clearing out/cleaning up the baby's room so we can start working on that. We picked out the paint colors and need to pick those up sometime soon, too.
I have my Gestational Diabetes test on Thursday. Hopefully, it will come back clear. I do have a feeling, however, that they will tell me I'm anemic again. I was anemic with Kaylin and as sluggish as I've felt I just have a feeling that's what it's tied to. I also don't like this whole bedrest thing b/c it means I'm getting worn out sooner when doing things such as climbing the stairs and my back is already starting to hurt. I didn't have those symptoms hit this early with Kaylin and I've only gained about 8lbs so it's not due to gaining more weight with this pregnancy. I can only figure it's due to having to sit on my bum for most of the day.
