Star Trek 2009
Star Trek XI - I went to see it at my husband's insistence, and I went very unwillingly.
Anyway, after I had delivered several comments along the lines of, "This is NOT Star Trek!!!" to my husband in angry whispers, I did eventually settle into the movie. However, a whole lot of that had to do with Zachary Quinto's portrayal of Spock. As an actor, Zachary Quinto was completely unfamiliar to me. I'm not terribly interested in what he's done previously, or what he goes on to do next - it's enough that as Spock, Quinto positively owned the role.
The reboot did win me over - even when I was convinced that was impossible... and dammit, I really wish I was watching it again right now! (Because four times already is obviously not enough... :-)
