it was unbelievably awesome. one word: FUCKINGAWESOMENIGHT! it finished at 6am, i got home for about quarter to eight!

kirsty is actually coming to live next door now. i went on a date with her yesterday. we went for a quick meal in wetherspoons and a walk around town. it was pretty awesome. she texted me as soon as she got in saying she enjoyed the day. i think there is definately some connection there although im not hoping for the world. im kind of going with the flow for a change. this time, seriously.

as far as music goes these days i'm really into the dance scene. Tilt played Live last night and blew me away. Rank 1 were decent but a bit cheesy in places. Marc West is a god for playing Mirco De Govia's "Voller Sterne (Super8 remix). Andy Bagueley was more entertaining to watch than to listen to. Scott Bond was awesome but the Hi end frequencies in his sound about took my ears clean off. He kept playing with this phaser effect during breakdowns and buildups. that was cool. Solarstone was fucking awesome.

anyhow, last night was awesome. i met loadsa random people. one of them was Solarstone, the very famous DJ/producer/remixer. he gave me and dave tips on production after we sparked up a convo around a typical "good set mate" compliment. he also told us not to multi-band compress our bass sections cos it fucks up the whole concept of a solid rythm. bass always sounds best in mono :) fact!

well, kirsty has had to go home today, but shes actually coming back to live next week. fingers-crossed that she doesn't have to cancel the plan cos she is fucking awesome. the two hours we spent were awesome. its like when you meet someone you know you'll always feel comfortable with. ive met quite a few of those in the past few weeks, and most thanks to Trance music. real trance music! fuck this emo/indie elite that people got going. thats so depressing. ive never felt more accepted than i have in Passion and Godskitchen :)so fuck the rescue rooms and its chic hairdo-sporting arseholes! no offence. some are cool. i wish the indie scene could go back to the eighties and nineties cos the people who go to gigs have never sucked more . i cut my hair shorter. i plan on keeping it this way :)
