My time at L'Atobe thus far has been enjoyable and instructive. With every shift at the restaurant, I gain knowledge from my co-workers and the patrons I am helping. In a sense, yes. As Yagyuu said, home is where the heart is.

There are memories/feelings that are associated with places but without the memories/feelings those places would mean nothing.

I believe the term is "Shake what your mother gave you." Except, I suppose the "talent" you speak of came from your father.
