Neil Gaiman is pretty cool. I'm reading American Gods at the moment. I just love the surreal nature to his writing :-) Coraline is a young adult book, but still pretty good.
Just another indication of how cool They Might be Giants are, their collaborations speak for themselves :-)
American Gods is a wonderful book. Hehe my friend and I always get into a fight over whether that or Neverwhere is better. I guess the new Coraline movie is supposed to be really spooky.
You know, you wouldn't normally think of the "They Might Be Giants" doing something like that- but it might turn out to be quite neat.
I havent read Neverwhere. It's next on my list :-) I'm excited bout Coraline. Spooky is always good when it comes to kids books. Do you know if Neil has had much collaboration in making it?
I bet you'll love Neverwhere. Have you ever read Stardust? That was really good, too. I think Neil did a lot of collaboration with Coraline, actually. He has some other movies coming out this year as well.
wow. That's cool, I cant wait, well I guess I will have to since the release for Aust will probably be next year. :-)
I've only read American Gods and Good Omens. Not even his comics...is that Stardust? No, that's Sandman.
But everyone seems to bookmark his blog. It's interesting to see the internet creating personalities that would never have been seen before its evolution.
