First of all, I just want to thank everyone that voted NO. You son of a bitches. It's a universal privilage to go to school you fucking idiots. All of you senior citizens and parents that think "the budget is too much" WHO PAYED FOR YOUR EDUCATION?! That's right, your parents, and grandparents and all of the elderly in the county. It's too bad the ( Read more... )

Um, my grandmother was born in 1912. Her education was certainly a lot cheaper than mine was. They didn't have computers when she went to school. Your comparison is not justified and you sound like an idiot.

It's not fair for you to sit behind your computer and imply that other people did not have the right to vote no. While I agree that saying no to forty five dollars a month is just flat out absurd especially considering the amount spent on nail salons of Mahopac, I would like to think that voting no came down to desperation. There are people in this town who are getting to the point where they have control over nothing else but these small pennies. It’s terrible that the community does not support its schools, but you should be able to have some more empathy instead of bombastically exclaiming that they have no hearts or brains.

But you're right on property values. Being the most violent district in the entire area in addition to being on austerity, I don't know why people would move to Mahopac. You do not have a mortgage, though, you do not have a car payment, and you barely have a job if you have one at all. It is not your place to comment on why all should have voted yes and it's just flat out immature to reduce the youth of the community by suggesting that your time will be spent on the street corner smokin. This would happen anyway, as Kevin Muller so aptly pointed out. It’s perfectly understandable that you’re enraged and want to have your activities around for your senior year, but answers like this are just incredibly frustrating.

You have Mr. A and a bunch of parents who have nothing to do but read off raffle tickets. Drama will be fine, I assure you. You will not have elaborate sets for a year, but I’m sure you will have a production and I’m sure it’ll mean more than ever. Just take a step back from all this bullshit and realize what exactly you’re dealing with. Please, learn perspective.
