Yep, applying to join a civil volunteer SAR group - one of the busiest in Canada. 'Cause I have so much free time, apparently :/ But I couldn't really pass up the deal on the (free) training, it's an excuse to get out into the bush more often, and a chance to help people out who desperately need it.
