She was just about going to bed when the window to her (fifteenth-story) apartment slid open, and Minamimoto hopped inside. Mitsuki drew back against the bed, drawing her robe tighter around her shoulders, and demanded coolly, "How did you find my apartment?"

"Kid stuff," he said dismissively, boots hitting the ground. "Algebra. All vectors point from me to you, Mitchi."

Absurd math analogies aside, Mitsuki narrowed her eyes and informed him, "I don't recall giving you permission to call me by my given name, much less--"

He had crossed the room in a single animal lunge and wound his arms around her, all but purring as he gathered her up against him. Mitsuki's lips pulled back in a snarl and she drew her hand up, Imagination drawn into claws to tear him open, but he caught her wrist.
