(oh man, I'm so sorry, but FF8 is like, my favourite FF game ever, so I had to comment. I was unable to just let this stand! I'm so sorry

I always thought that they just ran out of ideas at that point. They had no way to connec the characters and someone just threw this out,and they decided to roll with it. That's pretty much the only thing that stops me from going crazy

Final Fantasy 10 is a remaster though, not a remake. What they should do is stop making FF13 sequels -.- (Although i have to admit, I am hoping FF13versus will get released in the near future...)
