Thanks to everyone for your help. I took sasha_janre's advice and used the Lightning Rook I got from Megumi. It seemed as though the dragon is elemental, because I also had a Pyrokinetic Pin and the Icicle Pillar one in my deck, and all three dealt major damage.
But yes. Thanks to everyone and the ending was most definitely worth it ^_^
