A few probably stupid questions OTL

Is it possible for the Black Planet pin sold at WildKat to just sort of... randomly change?

I've recently picked up TWEWY after abandoning it for entirely too long, and WildKat is now selling Black Mercury instead of Black Uranus. (It's been a while, but I know I'm not misremembering what was originally sold because I have Black Uranus and there' ( Read more... )

Yeah, it changes depending on what DS it's in, I believe. As in, if you stick the game in a few different DSes, it'll sell different pins.

I have no idea what all mingling is about since I don't live in a place where I can easily mingle. My friends are all scattered across the country. sadface.

I haven't changed DSes, though. D: I'm not using the same DS I started this save on, but last time I played this save on my current DS WildKat was selling Black Uranus.

...I should probably add that to my post, huh.

...I thought it was fairly clear, but okay.

When I started this save file, WildKat was selling Black Uranus. WildKat was still selling Black Uranus after I switched DSes. The fact that it is now selling Black Mercury does not appear to be related to the switch because it didn't happen at the same time.

Is that better?

GOT IT, I think, thanks for clarifying-- I don't think I was reading that post right. Anyway, it probably just recognized the first DS (after you changed it) as a different DS after being saved on the second one, and changed then. That the second DS had Uranus on it sounds like coincidence. I doubt any one DS has a specific pin attached to it, that any game on it would sell that pin, so it's likely that it just changes whenever it's put into another DS, period. (someone correct me if I'm wrong!)

Does that sound about right?

That... makes a lot more sense than the way I was looking at it. :P

The second DS is the one I'm playing on now, but it's entirely possible that the game's been in the first DS sometime between the last sighting of Black Uranus and the present, so I guess that explains that!
