“What can I do you for?” a melodic voice greeted the teens as they came into the café. This pulled the group to a stop (with the exception of Beat, who tripped on the bottom ledge of the door way)
“Who the hell are you?” snapped Neku, what was this woman doing in Mr. H’s Café? The woman had frowned and was looking down at Beat,
“You okay there? Nasty trip”
“I said who the hell are you?” Neku said through clenched teeth. Joshua, who had picked up a habit of tagging along with the group, said,
“I never thought we would meet again, is Mr. Hanekoma in some kind of trouble?” The woman gave an elegant shrug, stepping out from behind the counter as Beat picked himself up,
“One could say that Yoshiya,” she cocked her head to the side, “So this is the infamous Neku every one is talking about,” Neku looked like she had just kicked him.
“People are what?”  Neku asked, seeming appalled, which he was, he hated people talking about him! Joshua chuckled,
“You Neku have sent shock waves all over the UG, in Shibuya and beyond” Joshua  explained, “People are going to notice, remember, every district in Tokyo, any were in the world people reside, there is a UG there, maybe not like the one we have here in Shibuya, but it’s there,”
Neku was starting to feel the urge to strangle Joshua, but decided that could wait until they had solved the current mystery. Rhyme, the most level headed out of any one present, said
“Excuse me Miss, but you said Mr. H is in trouble?” Rhyme’s voice cut the tension like a pure note from a bell. The women looked down at Rhyme and smiled
“Call me Lucia,” she stepped back, “come in and sit down, I’ll explain as much as I’m aloud to, heavens knows you kids have some sort of a right to this whole thing,”  Neku had planted his feet and wasn’t planning on moving, but Shiki wrapped her delicate fingers around Neku’s wrist, tugging,
“Come on, let’s sit down,”   Shiki whispered to him, “We’ll know more if we just go along with it, even if she is crazy, we’ll get more information that way” Neku looked down at her and buried his face into the collar of his shirt,
“Fine,” he snapped storming over to where Beat had already sat down.
“What can you tell us about Mr. H, Miss Lucia?” Shiki asked, remaining standing, fingers laced so Mr. Mew was caught between her tummy and her hands.
“Not much without breaking the rules myself, so I’ll have to be vague ,” she had started to make them all drinks and set out a few muffins for them to munch on. “During the three weeks you ,Neku, played as the Composers , Joshua’s, Proxy.  Sanae did some things he really shouldn’t have.”
“Ah, you’re talking about the Taboo noise, right?” Joshua said, Beat bust into the conversation, almost choking on a muffin.
“Wha’ chu talkin’ bout prissy britches? That was all Pi face!”   He bellowed, still half choking. Lucia stared at him,
“You’re Beat I’m assuming , wild as everyone said,” She shook her head, “No, never mind, not right now,” she said “And Pi-face is Sho I take it?”   Joshua nodded, sipping the coffee she had placed in front of him. She sighed, “You have to understand, someone had to teach Sho, or Pi-face,” she paused, seemingly amused by the nick name, “How to summon those Taboo noise,”
“And Mr.H did is what you’re saying?” Neku asked quietly.
                “Exactly,”
“Why would he do that?” Rhyme asked, “He’s so nice…” Lucia sighed,
“Yes, Sanae is very nice, and very emotional to be honest,” she pulled up a chair, smoothing out her white skirt before sitting. “I can’t tell you exactly what he wanted…”
“He wanted me to lose,” Joshua said, his smug grin pulling at the corners of his mouth.   Neku just stared at the cup of coffee that sat on the table. There were a million questions speeding through Neku’s head, but he wanted to ask Mr. H them, not this women. Neku was pulled out of his deep thoughts by the bell that hung over the door, Lucia stood as it called out its bright little peal.
“How did it go?” Lucia asked the new comer. Mr. H chuckled and scratched the back of his head,
“Now that’s an interesting story, it-“ he cut himself off, looking at the group of teen agers, “Oh, hey boss, phones, “ he treated them to his casual grin, “you know you’re paying for that coffee, right?”
