Welcome to subarashiki

Hey everyone! Thanks for joining, and thanks for your support! We're going to have a lot of fun, and I really look forward to the roleplaying to come!

The site is still underway - so don't worry, it won't stay like this for long. Let me know if you need help customizing your own journal! I'd be happy to help.

I've done a couple of other RPGs, but they were much more hardcore than this will be. I really only expect everyone to post like once a week. If they want to post more often that's great. I'm sort of modeling this after endless_banquet. I thought they looked really cute and they inspired me! So yeah, here we are.

Before we start, you might want to post a character sketch on your own journal like I have. It helps put you into your character a bit and gives everyone else a taste for what's to come. Don't forget to add your fellow RP journals!

I thought I'd put down a couple of ground rules - these are a work in progress as well. I'd say they're pretty basic and they go without saying!

(1) All OOC (out of character) stuff should be posted on the community!
(2) All roleplay posts should be posted on your RP character! That way, we can see everyone's icons when we go into the subarashiki page!
(3) Don't bust out the sex! Let's keep this at the ai level. In other words, let's have fun with this. There's no need to be really serious with the sex!
(4) If you're not going to be able to post for the next week or two, let us know. Make a post in the community about it so you can give us a heads up!
(5) Don't use internet slang when you're RPing! I think that one's pretty obvious. I don't feel the need to correct people's posts and say 'that needs to be punctuated,' because we're all pretty mature people here and we're not retarded.
(6) All roleplay content should be in third person! This means we post in a narrative voice. It gives it more season, and we can speak through a deliberate tone. Or, in simpler terms, we sound smarter. ♥ I made my sketch in first person because it sounded cuter. You can do your sketch however you want!
(7) Never roleplay someone else! It pisses people off!

I guess that's it for now. Let me know if you have any suggestions or concerns!

I'm personally not concerned with setting in this. I've known a lot of RPGs to be setting intensive, so the characters can use the environment to their advantage, but I don't really care about it. As you can tell, the anime/manga primarily involves itself with the characters! If Tohru hits her head on something, so be it. We don't need to know about the setting beforehand, just keep it simple.

Let's have some fun!!
