Do fundamentalists believe that if gay marriage is legalized their churches would then be forced to marry gays and lesbians? If so, I just want to say, that...as far as I know...that is not the case. ONLY churches that want to will marry gays. I am for separation of church and state. That means if your religion or sect doesn't want to marry gay people, then that's your religion. You do that. However, bring it back around and you got churches that might be OK with it. The government, in my most humble opinion, should not get in the way of that. Right-wingers are always for less government but then they want government to get in the way on this issue? That's just...contradictory in my opinion. I have some socialist views but I have a lot of libertarian viewsn as well. Do...whatever the fuck you wanna do. I don't think the government should get in the way of most things. "The pursuit of happiness" is in our Constitution. Does this not apply for gay people? Maybe at this point you'd say gay people are just confused but I'd say you're just misinformed.
Do you know what percentage of animals (with two sexes) show homosexual activity? Not 50%. Not 75%. Science shows that 100% of all species with males and females show homosexual activity. I always feel very strange defending this issue...being heterosexual myself but I just hate how other people's rights are infringed upon for stupid reasons. Small government should mean exactly that. Stay the fuck out of other people's happiness.
