Computer woes
My Dell XPS M1330 laptop has been overheating a lot in the past month, to temperatures of close to 90 C, which is highly abnormal. It turns out that it was the video card frying my system, and so I got a laptop cooler to bring the temperatures back down. For a while, that was working, until today, when I was just chatting, not doing anything graphic intensive, when my entire system went purple before it froze. I tried to reboot, but each time only gave me a black screen.
So, I think my laptop is officially fried. Luckily for me, my desktop appears to be working somewhat, though it's crawling at the speed of... a snail. I am going to try my best to not restart this thing, since everytime I restart, it takes forever to actually boot up.
I'm going to be taking my laptop into the Geek Squad to see if I can recover my data, and will be buying a new computer. =_=;;; Which I've needed to do for some time, anyway.
