I think that's all that really needs to be said. I don't really understand why people feel like they really need to shut down conversations when it's not hurting anyone in the first place. Critiquing something is not the same as personally attacking someone, especially when the critique is centered around things like authorial intent or massive fail. To wave around marketing statistics and rationalize fail and deny people the liberty and freedom to discuss their viewpoints because you don't agree with what they're saying?
