Always Twirling, Twirling, Twirling!

Since the American public,(yes you guys too) have become a mass representation of The View, there is no point preaching to the choir or causing some some to furrow their brows in a vain attempt at thought to try to comprehend the last few years. Instead, lets instead look at the future. Let's not blind ourselves with hope or jealousy. This man is ( Read more... )

I understand your statement, good sir, and I did not choose to ignore Palin as a "woman" vote, either. She did not run for president, unlike Hillary, who did, so my statement on a woman president running would be in error if Palin was who I mentioned. I am just as appalled at the "Sarah" supporters as the "a black president" people. Palin was not my first choice for a running mate, nor my second or even fifth. I just don't think she has the experience to adequetely cast a tie breaking vote at the Senate, or head the Vice Presidental Action Rangers. We would not have to go back and forth very far. That being said, I did not vote for Obama because I did not feel his policies and views on certain issues represented my beliefs in how the country should go. However, he will be the next CIC, and I shall respect the post, and who occupies it. Note that I was not hard on the man himself in my post; rather I was reflecting on ignorant voters judging him on his skin, for good or bad intentions. Also, in reviewing my grammer from my previous comment, I feel I may written in haste, and realize that my last statement on ignorance was vague. It was directed towards those voters I speak of but not phrased as such. I sincerely hope you did not think it was directed at your post itself.

I would expect nothing less from you. You're one of the few Republican voters I know (and I don't know a lot) that votes based on issues and not on party affiliation. Please understand that type of reply to such a post implies such an intent. I'm glad to be wrong and as always respect where you are coming from. Whenever we choose to disagree I have never felt that you being a "crazy conservative".

I appreciate that. The GOP has been hijacked by these crazies, and the few of us that haven't jumped on the Libertarian bandwagon hang on to ride out the tide of nutbags. If the world doesn't end in Dec of 2012, perhaps the tide will recede. That being said, there is that matter of the giraffes coming to kill us all...
