What I do when you're not looking
This time next month I will be married. The first time I typed that I misspelled it as marred. Work has finally slowed down and I'm jogging again. I had to give up Yubi, as Elin's other cat caused her to live inside a chair. She's happier now, being the only cat in her new apartment.
On the toy front I found Galvatron and the Target exclusive Conquest. After using Targets website to find a store with the item, I discovered that the hard part would be the getting the item from employees who were hiding them for themselves/friends. After arguing with two employees and getting different answers from each about why their inventory gun would say they had two yet somehow that really meant zero, I went to the customer service desk and said that the item was on hold for me. At which point the item was promptly produced. It's funny because a few years ago I would have gone back to the employee that lied to me and waived the item in their face and do a fuck you dance, but now I'm just content with outsmarting their bullshit. Plus, putting that much energy into finding a toy means there were no winners.
But finding the Mighty Mugg Galactus made my day. Those little guys are awesome.
Oh, and once I saw a blimp.
