Banned
This has to be one of the lamest post but it's still kinda bugs me. Am I the dufus here? Maybe I should spend more time learning about LJ in detail. Your thoughts please?
I wanna join a community which has Closed membership.
I remember clicking on the Join Community button and the message says the community is closed or something to that effect.
So I sent a PM to the mods to ask if I could join.
I forgot all about it until a month later and realised I was banned from this community. Turns out if you PM the mods, you'll end up getting banned. I'm fine with that - my bad for not reading the rules. I'm sure I did but it probably did not register in my puny brain. :P
Questions - For a community where the membership is closed. So if I am keen to join, how do I go about without sending a PM? If the community is no longer accepting any new members, shouldn't they update their post to indicating so? Their posts only said they will remain a closed community. Or is it already understandable and I shouldn't have tried?
