New York, New York.

You know how they say, when things are so bad you think they just CANNOT possibly get any worse? Well, I officially know now that no matter how far down on rock bottom you are, bottom goes deeper than you ever thought possible. It's been such a tiring week. From bad news of a good friend's grandmother falling critically ill to forgetting to bring locks for checked luggage. I'm sitting in the plane right now, trying to mastermind some ingenius way to unlock my luggage without actually having any keys for the locks.

Right now I'm down to three "possible" solutions (you might want to debate me on the true "possibility" of these solutions)...
1) Find a locksmith. I don't know. Locksmiths are usually called in to break open giant house locks and stuff, right? They might scoff and roll their eyes at my two tiny baggage locks. Plus, locksmiths sound expensive.

2) Go to a hardware store to buy a lock cutter. I don't know if I'll ever use it again, but hey, if they have bike lock cutters, they should have tiny luggage lock cutters aas well, right? Maybe I'll be able to buy one, use it, and then return it. Voila!

3) Eric claims that if I poke a sharp pen or something similar into the tiny holes in the zippers, I can actually get the zippers to open without having to damage the locks OR the bag. Ingenius, I must say. Only, it sounds too simple. Almost too good to be true.

This is why I usually don't lock my bags. Nothing bad has ever happened! Even the luggages that have those build-in passcode locks, I set the code to "000" or something along those lines because... it's EASY TO REMEMBER. Now the ONE time I decide to lock my luggage (I even stupidly went and DOUBLE locked it), I forget the keys. Seriously. What the hell is wrong with me?!

They're serving "supper" soon. It's 11.30pm, and I just had dinner AND dessert with my friends at 10. After they serve "supper", we're not getting any more meals! That's just stupid. I think they should be serving a meal just before the plane lands (7am EDT) as opposed to freaking 12am (PDT)!! Ugh. Everything is just really pissing me off right now.

I don't even want to imagine the hassle and stress I'll be bombarded with when I land in New York City in 4 hours. Locksmiths, lock cutters, bus shuttles, bustling city, 7am sleepinesss, 3pm check-in time and 5 hours worth of sleep in the past 48 hours, here I come!

This is going down as the worst vacation ever.
