Doctor Who series 6

Well now.

I'm actually speechless. I mean... The finale of series 6 actually managed to be slightly less meh than the finale of the previous series, but once again we get a load of 'it happened OMG!!! er... well, not really.' Stuff happened! Then it kind of didn't. The Doctor had to die! OMG The Doctor died!!! Then he didn't.

Not saying he should have died, I just really wish they'd actually go through with what they're showing. As melodramatic as Davies was, at least he went there, guns blazing, boys kissing and the Doctor so very sorry all the time. I really like the Doctor as portrayed by Matt Smith, but after a second huge OMG it's all gonna end!!!! And then a major letdown...

It's really hard to find any part in me that actually cares.

There was however something I resent about the series finale. *sigh* I liked the nod at Rose and Jack, because that was appropriate and nice with continuity. However, I really don't understand why they wanted to let us know that the Brigadier had died. Not only died, he'd died alone in a home, waiting for the Doctor to appear one last time. The fuck, Moffat? The Doctor can be pretty callous, and most of series 6 episodes have shown him as a kind of a bastard, but what the hell was that all about?

*rage*

Still kind of speechless.

Anyway, started series 6 with 'oh well, I'm pretty meh, Amy isn't as annoying as she was in the beginning, like Rory, and don't give a damn what happens to anyone', and lookie, it's a full circle. Yes, this is better for my mental health than the emotional rollercoaster with Nine and Ten, but whatever dude.

And that's all I'm gonna say about this show for now. :)
