Indiana Jones (or) Oh Steve, you Sci-fi geek
So, saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull on Wednesday night. Overall impression = fun. My kind of movie: lots of action, quips, (quasi) archaeology and a motorbike. Gotta say though, aliens? I mean I know it was directed by Steven Spielburg, but geez…
Meanwhile, surrendered to the machinations of the director etc. and much enjoyed the hotness of Mutt aka mini!Indie, thus exposing myself as the shallow, hormone driven teen that I am. Also, what is with this kind of movie that the baddie always gets killed hording the treasure - I get that they’re trying to juxtapose the self-restraint of the heroes with the greed and materialism of the baddies, but come on, TREASURE! I gotta tell u, if it was me and I was down there I’d be grabbing myself some loot too. Shiny… But personally, I find it more satisfying if my heroes have flaws, would’ve had my hero swipe a little something… It must come as no surprise that Draco is my favourite Harry Potter character, huh? I like my men like I like my weight - ambiguous. Or ambiguously evil, whatever works.
