What a weird little while.
I booked my plane ticket home, and the one to Barcelona and to Paris. It should be a good trip. Discovered I can do all transportation and accomodation for under 500 euros. So i felt that it was ok for me to do my trip!
I am still fighting roaches though I haven't seen the mouse for a few days. Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can borrow my neighbours vacuum to clean with. That way i think the exterminator will be more effective on Monday. Must remember to tell him to do the inside of the fridge as well!
I heard at work yesterday that I need to talk less or I may not have a job, which is mildly ludicrous because they're super short on people, and I only have two weeks left so why bother? I think they're just mad at me because they know I'm going on vacation when I leave there and they're jealous. Which is stupid, your last month in europe do you work or travel? I don't think that takes much thought. However! Saying that, since I can do that trip so cheaply I should have some money left when I get home to devote towards debt which is a mighty good thing.
So, I have everything planned out from now till home I suppose. Casey finally gets here this Saturday, we'll have to get used to the two of us in close quarters, but I suppose we can handle that. I certainly can as I'm technically here rent free. And then I'm done work on the 1st of July (unless they fire me) and then I leave for barcelona on the 5th. There until the 17 when I meet mom and bruce in Paris, and then back to Amsterdam on the 21 until the 27 when I fly to Glasgow. I'm there five nights and then off to Vancouver! Paula is being good enough to pick me up at the airport and then I'm not too sure yet how I can get back to Kelowna, I'll either fly or bus or something. That's about it for now. Will post more once I'm travelling and have things to say.
Oh and roaches are stupid by the way. Yes they don't like light, but they will become accustomed to it, but sometimes I see them crawling up the wall and then they suddenly just like let go and fall to the floor, from like five feet up. It makes no sense. They're just dumb.
