oh speaking of doujins omg, i'm so sorry, and sooo stresssed, this week is midterms and i've hardly had time to draw a damn thing for myself, the school took an abrupt turn and compressed 1 yrs work into a term and now the teacher for the subjects, drawing, painting, leathercraft, sculpting, textile design, textile construction(tho he's a dumb pervert and hates women), graphics, they're all pushing hard, i also have art history, english, basic design oh and ceramics, and 3 different drawing classes and teachers, man it's soo much bloody stress, but it's almost over, ne? then i'll get a major and minor and more time for myself
yeah well i plan on majoring in painting and minoring in ceramics. but i'll still HAVE to study drawing, basic design, art history and english.... -.- oh well and all the peopl here are backwards ecxept my painting teacher, who likes my style of drawing, bue even the director of studies don't like my manga way of doing cartoons, she wants me to do "local" things which i think is just morbid shit, lol excuse my language, EVERYONE here is nearly backwards and can't see past their nose and they thin art is usually "busy" shit, they're workmanship is poor and ugh
alllll of my teachers are untrained and are just people who studied their before and got a job, they're semi-good at what they do and ugh, they're even somewhat competitive with students, they mostly believe you should do what they want u to do and call "art" they love afican designs, 1, i'm not african, even if some great somebody for me maybe, i'm like 70% east indian and look like a portuguese-.- oh well end rant soo sorry
XDDDDDDD don't wory for the rant, Ithink they should have to let the students to develop their own style and express what they want, I thought art was that, and becasuse of that is a matter of tastes..... and what is the matter with african art???????? is the new fashionable art?
african art is fine, but like 95% of people do it and now it's soo unoriginal and it's they lack total creativity now, cuz everyone does the similar things and then they complain about people not wanting to buy their work.....lol i mean this country is KNOWN for have 6 official races.....chinese, euro, portuegese,african, east indian, amerindian
