Just Breathe
My road. We're getting some color, but this photo doesn't do it justice. It's been warm and rainy all weekend, but the temp is supposed to take a drastic drop overnight. That should bring out the bright pops of colors.
My anxiety has been really high the last couple of days. I was feeling better this morning - almost cheerful, really - but then stuff happened at work, and now I find myself having to remember to just breathe.
I really should just find a new job already, but sometimes just thinking about it ties me up in knots to the point of feeling absolutely paralyzed. I have no idea what makes a good resumé these days. I know things have changed a lot in the professional world, and I have no idea where to even start when it comes to working on mine. And then there's the cover letters. They have always been the bane of my existance.
Any tips? Anyone?
In other news, I ordered shrimp for my aquarium. They should be here tomorrow, along with a couple of new plants (a couple stems of Jungle Val and Cabomba). I had accidentally paid my dental premium (CapBlue) onto one of my credit cards (CapOne) using my bank's bill payment system (oops!), so I had a $37.08 "credit" to my only zero-balance card. I'm pleased to say I spent all but 6¢ of it! (That's the closest I'll ever cut it, I'm sure!) Once I have them acclimated tomorrow evening, I plan to post a pic or two. I really enjoy watching my snails, so I absolutely can't wait to have shrimpies to watch too!
