For the Love of Jer
Alright, so I have to admit something. I've been fighting with myself (I lead a very rich inner life) for a few months, and I still don't think I have an answer.
I don't like Jerry that much.
It's not because he isn't cute, cause he is. It's not because I don't think he's smart, because he's way intelligent (and has no problem letting people know it). And it's not because I don't like his singing voice, which I admit to be pathetically fond of for some reason.
I just don't think he's that funny by himself.
Maybe I'm just seeing him wrong. I keep waiting for Dean to jump out and the act to start, but Jer just keeps going all by himself. So far I've only seen the The Errand Boy, and only liked one scene (the jazz boardroom).
*sigh*
Anyone have any suggestions? It just feels weird to love watching Jer with Dean, and hate watching him all alone.
