Well, this was strange.
Not that Bekkou looked particularly off-guard, save for a slight tilt to his head and a murmur of unease. But the Akashic record hadn't noted anything of the sort for a sudden upheaval of his realm, and as far as the Ferryman knew, those who opened doors to other places were all pacified. At least, he didn't think that he made any argument with them recently.

Nevertheless, he stood up, dusting off his clothing, and set about having a look at his surroundings. It appeared to just be a simple room, but when he opened the door, the hallway was more expansive than he would have thought, with no immediate visible way out.
Bekkou sighed and nudged up his glasses. This was going to be annoying.
