Also because of this (http://community.livejournal.com/sounis/111054.html) it is quite possible I'm going to get struck down by lightening.

(I note your lj background is mauvish pinky russet. The gods are laughing.)

lololololol

I can see why MWT always says you guys are crazy.

Speaking of colours, did you notice that one point when Sophos screams out I AM SOUNIS!!! and mentions the Sounisian colours under his breastplate, but then didn't.tell.us.what.the.colors.are?!?!?! MWT is such a tease! I want to know what the Sounisian colours are, darnit!

Yes! In summer I will write a more tactful letter that goes like this:

Dear Megan,

If you'd like a Sophos doll as Sounis please tell her what sounis' colours are.

kthxbyewithcookies

Em :-)

Perhaps we could enlist the help of anachred and entice Megan with some custom Sounisian yarn for her next sweater...if only we knew the colours. *sigh* Y/Y?

Megan did say she was waay happier with the final version so I'm kind of reserving judgement.
Is it horrible that this statement excited me? I'm just glad everyone's been so nice so far about my review; I was a bit nervous to put it out there with all the other love for the book, half expecting I would be publicly granched. ;)

"Don't be ridiculous", when Eddis takes Attolia's hand
What part(s?) is this?!?!?! Y'all keep mentioning it, but all I can think of is when Attolia(?) takes Eddis's hand when Sophos is leaving.

It seems like the time he was a slave was a completely different book to the rest of it.
I totally got that, too. I think I was expecting him to be a slave longer, because that's all I'd ever really heard about in synopses of the book. And then, 100 pages later, it's over. Huh?

I hope it grows on me. I'm not looking forward to two more books of it if I still can't stand it. XD

It's so ironic. I spend years waiting for book which was meant to be my graduation present only to read it before finals only for it to be ( ... )

Hey, you're braver than I am. At the worst we can always comfort each other and do a reread of the others ( ... )

Oh! Ok, thanks! That was pretty great. The two of them are just wonderful. They complement each other so well because they're so different. *love*

Actually I wasn't that fond of Costis until Jade inadvertedly hooked up with him and I had to scour KoA to try figure out his personality to try figure out who was writing those godsdamn letters.
Say it isn't so, Em! Costis, cover your ears, she didn't mean that! She's always loved you and your honor!

For me it's that I loved Sophos in TT. I can see his sad puppy eyes looking at me saying "you don't love me anymore" and I'll just say "get a grip go cry on Helen's shoulder" and then feel awful for a conversation going on inside my head.
lol That's totally something I do, too, except for the conversation usually makes its way out of my head and onto my lips. And then I just sound even more crazy. I can't tell you the number of times my little sister comes in my room wondering who I'm talking to only to find that it's me. XD

ahaha, I always liked Aris better. He was more practical. Still is *huggles fictional bf*

Oh yes! I've learnt to keep it inside my head to avoid lengthy explanations to the flatmates.

Ok, ok. Aris was a cool kid, too. It was nice to see him even just for a second. XP

You must be doing well with that, since you still them.

Huh? Typots?

Rawr! Cursed typots!

I meant to say "since you still *have* them."

Argh! Sophos must be rubbing off on me!

Well, one of them we hardly see and the other is just as bonkers but in different ways and has heard the conversations between me and the cat-in-my-head so is used to my abstracted look.

Is there really a cat in your head, or is it another typot? XP

I've had a cat in my head since I was 7. She's called Mab and is sneaky and opinionated and is currently either chasing butterflies or playing with a teleport machine. She seems to dive into other peoples' universes and set herself up as a beta.

If I ask nicely she'll edit my essays but y'know...butterflies are sort of shiny.
